Motorola W220

Motorola has launched a budget handset - the W220, for the price-conscious customer. This no-frills, stylish black flip phone has been aesthetically designed to resemble the slim RAZR range. The Motorola W220 is made of high-grade plastic to keep the price low. However it is a stylish looking phone, with smart molded contours, just like the popular RAZR series.

Motorola has priced the W220 model very reasonably but it has ample features to appeal to a wide range of consumers.

The Motorola W220, measuring 46x95x16.7 mm and weighing just 93 grams, comes in a pleasing combination of black and silver. The 128 x 128 pixel 65k colour screen provides brilliant clarity. It comes embedded with an FM Stereo radio, so you can tune into your favourite radio station and enjoy music on the move.

The phone is also equipped with a web browser 2.0 version and it also supports internet APN.
The menu is laid out in a 3x3 grid with finely drawn icons so you can navigate to the various functions very easily. A unique feature of this phone is the large font of the keypad, so you don't slip numbers. The keys have excellent click sensitivity, so you will have no difficulty with speedy typing - a great feature for sending messages. The phone also supports MMS standard and you can use up to 570KB of memory. You can insert text templates or entries from the phone book. You can store up to 250 SMS, 600 phone numbers and up to 100 fields with additional information (notes, e-mail address, mail address, web-page).

You can organize your call lists the way you like them and the numbers you had dialed are highlighted with special icons. The Motorola W220 comes with an 850 mAh capable Li-Ion battery, which provides nearly 550 minutes of talk time and up to 340 hours in standby mode.
